Our story

Mr. Anthony Abalogu is a Nigerian from the SE who was born in Ebute-Metta Lagos state, Nigeria. He is in his late fifties.

He attended GRA Primary School, Old Secretariat Road Ikeja Lagos. In 1978 he started his secondary education at Ikeja grammar school and later finished at Baptist Academy Obanikoro, Mainland Lagos.

Mr Abalogu attended IMT Enugu where he completed high school and later graduated in Social work at the University of Nigeria Nsukka.

In 1990 Mr. Tony as he is called relocated to Frankfurt and later to the City of Duesseldorf in Germany because he believed in the European value system.

As part of his dreams to further his Education he traveled to Europe.

Before finally settling in Duesseldorf- Germany, he lived in Antwerp, Belgium, and Utrecht in the Netherlands

He is married to Grace Abalogu, a Microbiology graduate and a Nurse at Caritasverband Düsseldorf, both have three children.

While in Düsseldorf he attended Inlingua Schule and later BZH in Duisburg a Technical college, and other training institutions. He worked with various International companies in Europe and the USA.

From 1996-1999 Mr. Tony was in San Bernardino California, he registered and took courses in Social Work and leadership skills.

Mr. Anthony became a Christian apologist Mentor, counselor, and leadership trainer Transforming the lives of Youths and families who are stuck into leaders and in control of their circumstances.

He worked with Diakonie the second-biggest Christian organization in Germany in charge of the social welfare service

He was the first chairman of Afro-Euro Vision e. V in Düsseldorf Germany an NGO established in 2004 with other African and European citizens for the inter-cultural integration and unity of Africans and Europeans living in Germany.

Afro-Euro Vision is an NGO that builds bridges amongst a diversity of cultures in Germany.

After he served as chief coordinating officer of AEVision the NGO in Düsseldorf from 2004 to 2012, he and his wife Mrs. Grace Abalogu establishshshed AGAF, an NGO for the empowerment of the people in rural communities in Nigeria.

In 2015 Mr. Anthony and his Wife Grace Abalogu established the Anthony & Grace Abalogu Foundation AGAF a non-profit charitable entity to promote local initiatives and poverty alleviation in mostly rural communities in SE & SWNigeria.

AGAF has helped a good number of local traders within the neighborhood of Oshodi and the environs in Lagos with a back-to-work program. Many were able to start a small businesses in logistics and public transportation with interest-free hire purchase vehicles without any down payments.

Some young people also have the opportunity to learn new Skill training with monthly allowances attached.

In South East Nigeria, we started also a poverty alleviation program. ( Direct start-ups for small traders.

Capital as an interest-free loan to locals.)

We set up measures to help rural communities especially local women to start small trading.

In May 2020 as covid-19 became a pandemic, AGAF decided to impact the local community we supported with Food items and palliatives for small families.

AGAF has a vision to promote social values, to empower the citizens at the „grassroots to feed their families.

Today, Mr. Anthony is in full-time Mentorship training as a life coach and Christian apologist, transforming lives, and helping people to set goals and gradually achieve their goals.
